School calendars in Belgium
Each of Belgium's three language communities sets its own school calendar. Since 2022 the French-speaking community has two-week autumn and spring breaks and a shorter summer. Flanders kept the traditional pattern, and the German-speaking community now follows a calendar close to the Flemish one.
School holidays in Belgium are set by the governments of the three language communities.
French Community covers: Wallonia-Brussels Federation.
Single schools can add a few days of their own (for example for teacher training or local feasts). Check with your school for those.
