What we store

No account and no personal data. NextBreak has no sign-up. Your theme and language choices stay in your own browser and never reach us.

Statistics. We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not identify you.

Your region. To preselect your school calendar we use the approximate country and region our hosting provider (Vercel) derives from your connection. Your IP address is not read or stored by us, and the result stays in your browser tab.

Visitor counter. The counter at the bottom of each page counts one visit per day per connection, by country, using a one-way fingerprint that is deleted the next day. No cookies are set and IP addresses are never stored.

Calendar feeds. When you subscribe to a calendar, your calendar app downloads a public file from us now and then. We do not know who you are.

Advertising. If ads are shown, they come from Google AdSense. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland you are asked for consent first through Google's certified consent message, and you can change your choice at any time.

Date confirmations and reports. When you confirm a calendar or report a different date, we store only the calendar, the school year and what you typed. A confirmation is counted once a day per connection using a one-way fingerprint that cannot be turned back into your address; the address itself is never stored.

Reminders. If you switch on reminders, your browser gives us a push address for this device, which we store with the calendar you follow and use only to send those reminders. Switching them off deletes it.
